The Geneva College Chapel program is a vital part of the College’s educational mission. The campus community gathers each week to consider deep biblical truth in a winsome way, engaging the hearts and minds of students, faculty and staff on the soul-deep issues of our time and helping them understand grace and glory of the risen Christ. Through each Chapel service we seek to encourage one another with the Word of God and learn to serve Him in all areas of life, personally and as a community.
Scripture is central to all components of the service, including the music. We sing the Psalms of the Bible because of their unique connection to the life and ministry of Jesus and their consequent ability to unite Christians from every culture and time period.
The College meets for Chapel at the 10:10 a.m. hour. Chapel messages are streamed and recorded each week; podcasts are available on the College website. Students are required to attend and all non-essential campus offices shut down during Chapel so that as many faculty and staff as possible can attend along with students.
